Thousands of yogis around the world joined together in the Yoga Aid World Challenge: a 24-hour global yoga-relay. Beginning in Sydney, the Yoga Aid World Challenge followed the sun west, touring through 20+ countries, and ended at sunset in Los Angeles.
In India, the Yoga Aid Challenge took place at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh.
Yogis around the world took part in the Yoga Aid challenge to fundraise for Ganga. Donations raised will go towards the many projects Ganga Action Parivar is working on to restore the Ganga to Her free-flowing and pristine state, from building eco-friendly toilets in cities and villages along the Ganga, planting thousands of trees, planning the first-ever “Green” Kumbh Mela, and so much more!
