The Wildlife Institute of India, in collaboration with Namami Gange, recently organized a special event at DSF’s Parmarth Vidya Mandir School in Rishikesh. The event aimed to raise awareness about wildlife and the significance of the Ganga river.
During the session, officials from WII shared valuable insights on the importance of water, fascinating facts about Mother Ganga, and the significance of preserving its ecosystem to ensure a clean and thriving river.
The students actively participated in the event, showcasing their creativity by drawing captivating wildlife-related pictures and crafting beautiful cards and bookmarks. These artistic creations served as a medium to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean Ganga, preserving its delicate ecosystem, and protecting the diverse wildlife it sustains.
In addition to their artistic contributions, the students actively engaged with the WII team by planting a stunning litchi tree within the premises of PVM school. This act symbolizes their commitment to environmental conservation and their role in safeguarding the natural treasures surrounding the Ganga.
