A special Sangeet Ganga program performed by the divine singer Premlatha Divakar was organized by Ganga Action on the banks of Ganga at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh. The program was in honor of the birthday of Jesus Christ (Christmas) as well as the 150th birthday of Shri Madan Mohan Malaviya and the birthday of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minster of India. It was also a special prayer for peace for the souls who lost their lives in the tragic fire at AMRI in Kolkata earlier in December and for peace and solace for their loved ones.
