Meetings with the Save Ganga Movement took place during their Ganga Yatra Phase II of the mid-to-lower regions of the Ganga (Vrindavan, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Gorakhpur). The meetings brought awareness to the local communities about the pressing issues facing the river Ganga and gathered people to join Ganga Action Parivar.
