Pujya Swamiji meets with Senior Director of FICCI, Dr. Nirankar Saxenaji, experts from IIT Roorkee along with our own Project Hope team, consisting of experts of the Owner Driven Rehabilitation Collaborative (ODRC) to discuss detailed plans, some key points included:
1) Creating a model village of green, owner driven rehabilitation. Work has already been started in the village of Parodi (district Tehri-Garhwal) where the entry project, rehabilitation of the village temple, will be completed before Diwali.
2) Rebuilding a few schools that are in need of being rehabilitated and sponsoring bio-toilets, water filters and renewable energy sources in the other over hundred schools that have been damaged or washed away.
3) Creating a model district where the community involvement towards projects that green the river banks and keep the river water clean can inspire and attract all.
