A follow-up meeting was held today in Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) under the leadership of Honorable Minister of Urban Development Of Uttarakhand, Shri Pritam Singh Panwarji, and with the guidance and vision of Pujya Swamiji. The team of nearly twenty members of the Ministry and Ganga Action Parivar are working closely together to create a pilot model of a clean and green Swargashram (Rishikesh) to set an example to all of the nation of a Green Pilgrimage Site. Concrete action plans were developed to implement solutions and management of trash, sanitation facilities, including bio-toilets and clean drinking water, sustainable road connectivity and cow protection programmes in the local area.
