“Green Ganga, Green Kumbha, Green India” Initiative today at the Ganga Action Parivar Camp, attended by Pujya Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Vijay Bahugunaji.
After a snan in the sangam, Hon’ble Shri Bahugunaji attended a program led by Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, founder of Ganga Action Parivar and President of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh. The program focused on the importance of protecting and preserving Mother Ganga. Shri Bahugunaji expressed his deep commitment to the protection of Ganga’s waters. Pujya Swami Chidanandji and Pujya Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji gave him a detailed “request list” from Ganga Action Parivar for ways to keep Ganga aviral and nirmal. They also presented him with tree saplings as prasad.
Also present were several other revered saints including Pujya Swami Harichetnanandji, Pujya Swami Umakantanandji, Pujya Sridharacharyaji and many others.
