Respected Shri Shivpal Yadavji, Hon’ble Minister of Irrigation and Revenue of Uttar Pradesh participated in the last day of the MSR conclave being held in Parmarth Niketan. Pujya Swamiji encouraged him to inspire thoughts on ways the most populous state of India can truly become the clean and green capital of the world.
He shared ways in which the banks of all rivers could be kept green by planting herbs, pollution abating species of trees and shrubs. He shared the latest technologies and innovative ideas that experts from all over the world are willing to share with the government in order to keep our river are clean.
Solar energy expert, Shri Darshan Goswamiji also came in on behalf of Ganga Action Parivar’s mission to promote and encourage renewable energy sources to inspire the Hon’ble Minister to utilize the latest CPV technology for harvesting solar energy. He explained that if Solar Energy was harvested effectively India would have enough power to meet its energy needs til the year 2050.
Hon’ble Minister later commended Indian Federation of Working Journalists for the organization of such a historic conclave and said that with their media shakti (power of the media) they can truly bring about a great revolution and awareness on the vital issues and challenges that face India. Additionally encouraged them to gather and share solutions just as the Ganga Action Parivar has been doing and mobilizing the community to support these efforts.
