Ganga Action Parivar began the plantation of a Himalayan medicinal herb garden at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, which will be used to educate yoga students and visitors from around the world.
In front of Parmarth’s grand three-story yoga hall, GAP planted native herbal species, including: amla, lemon grass, peppermint, sita ashok (a medicinal tree for women’s health), kali haldi, katchnar, harsingar, kapur, harad, bahena, bach, pudina, maulshree, nag kesar, giloy, and bhel bilub.
