A workshop was held at Parmarth Niketan to discuss a new Ganga White Paper which is being written by Ganga Action. Experts from all different fields gathered together to help write the Ganga white paper together, brainstorming ideas for the paper and suggesting what improvements can be made. This workshop was led by Pujya Swamiji, esteemed environmental activist and scientist Dr. Vandana Shivaji and Dr. BD Tripathiji, member of the National River Ganga Basin Authority.
The workshop was very productive and greatly helped to move the Ganga white paper to the next step. When this paper is finished, it will be presented to the Prime Minister of India as well as other members of the Central and State governments.
