The second day of Pujya Swamiji’s two-day stay in Delhi came to a conclusion on the 12th April with a short meeting with some of Ganga Action Parivar’s dedicated experts. The upcoming 8-10th May workshop was discussed and the sessions were broken up into 6-10 sessions addressing some of the most challenging issues facing Mother Ganga and Mother Yamuna. Amongst some issues discussed were the legal cases passed, pending or pressing for the rivers; sewage waste and solid waste management; eco-flows and hydropower; energy management and green crematorium systems amongst many others.
