Eminent Producer BK Modiji presents the life and story of Lord Buddha on Zee TV, in coordination with Spice Group. It is an over 50 episode show that would come every Sunday at around noon and deliver to people all over the nation- in their own homes- the inspirational story and message of Lord Buddha.
The series saw its first launching today and a special showing was held with interfaith and eminent leaders, such as Pujya Swamiji, Respected Imam Umer Iliasiji, Head of All India Imams, Respected Shri AK Merchantji, General Secretary of the Temple of Understanding and representative of the Bahai Temple and many others, joined together to provide their feedback and encouragement of wonderful initiatives and project such as this one and the many global consciousness programmes that Modiji has dedicated His life to.
Pujya Swamiji commended these efforts and shared that this was a shining example of media social responsibility providing healthy alternatives and holistic entertainment to the television industry. He urged that through media shakti (the power of media) we can raise awareness on important issues such as the degradation and neglect of our sacred rivers and our environment, in this way we could mold the youth and the next generation of the country providing them not only positive examples, inoculating them with human values but also providing healthy opportunities to serve their nation and make our collective future more clean, green and serene.
