Organic India Combines Forces with Project Hope and Ganga Action Parivar to Bring Opportunities to Disaster Survivors

Bharat Mitra, President and Founder of Organic India, with Dr. Bruce Lipton, an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirituality and author of best-selling books including The Biology of Belief, Spontaneous Evolution and the Honeymoon Effect, and his lovely wife Margaret Horton came to Rishikesh recently.

During their visit, a meeting took place with local experts and Ganga to work together bridging the gap and bringing together traditional wisdom with modern technology. One of the plans discussed in detail was taking up 200 villages in the first phase as a pilot model to start organic farming and herbal farming as well as support with buyback programme. Another project taken into action was creating green zones with plants, herbs and trees that can clean and purify the pollution in the River Ganga, as well as prevent soil erosion.
